Our Mission
Anchored 2 Teach, LLC was launched with the sole purpose of providing school districts and school administrators with seven (7) administrative strategies- R.E.S.P.E.C.T. to ensure that teachers have what is needed to be impactful in the classroom. Just like students need environments that are conducive for learning, educators need environments that are CONDUCIVE for TEACHING!!! Some teachers feel as if they are not valued, not supported, and underpaid. Services are generated to assist school leaders with challenges related to school culture and climate, teacher turnover rate, inclusion coaching cycles, student motivation, and instructional strategies. The Student Athlete Excellence Plan (S.A.E.P.) offers a comprehensive set of strategies for a holistic and student centered approach applicable in the classroom, sporting arena, and in society.
Our DARE 2 Be Enough Academy has been meticulously crafted to provide educators with the knowledge, empowerment, and tools necessary to elevate their careers to the next level, transforming them into adept educational consultants.

Dr. Erica’s Bio
Dr. Erica Sheffield, CEO and Founder of Anchored 2 Teach, LLC, spearheads an educational consulting venture that empowers educators to ascend as confident educational leaders. Anchored 2 Teach, LLC. equips administrators with seven strategies to cultivate an inclusive environment, where every teacher feels deeply valued and respected.
In addition to her pioneering role, Dr. Erica is a transformational keynote speaker, international speaker, educational consultant, published author, and mentoring coach. With over 26 years of education experience spanning K-12 through higher education, she leaves an indelible mark. Her academic journey includes an Associate Professorship at the University of West Alabama for nearly two decades. Dr. Sheffield's influence extends internationally, and she serves as a Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
Even post-retirement, Dr. Erica remains dedicated, working part-time as an Online Professor and ADA Compliance Coordinator for Online Programs. Amidst her dynamic career, she cherishes her roles as a spouse, mother of four, and grandmother of four.
